Here is a list of activities that are our all time favorites! (All of our guests receive a discount! Please download our coupons here to book one of these activities on your own, or let us do it for you when you arrive!)
– Spend the day on a tropical island surrounded by pure turquoise water, white sand, and sun! Start your adventure off on the party barge that takes you across to the Key, where you can dance to the music, indulge in the island cuisine, play with the monkeys, kayak, snorkel, discover what a Monkey Lala is, jump off the two story dock, and walk through the zoo! There is nothing like Little French Key, and children and adults will find this paradise to be the highlight of their trip.
$35 per person includes transportation and entrance to the Key.
$88 per person includes transportation, entrance to the key, 2 free drinks of your choice, use of all non-motorized water sports, lunch (shrimp, lobster, chicken, steak, rice & beans, yucca & chimole, and salad).
$98 per person includes all of the above, with a private guided snorkel tour on the reef.

Dolphin Encounter $68 – The encounter consists of 30 min waste deep in the water with a dolphin and trainer. This is a hands on interaction, where you will get an opportunity to give the dolphin rub downs, learn about them, get a kiss, and watch them perform and talk. You can bring your own camera, but we suggest splurging for the professional photos at the end of the encounter.
Dolphin Snorkel $109 – The snorkel is a full hour with the dolphins. You will enjoy the complete dolphin encounter (description above), and then snorkel and play with all of the dolphins after you meet them. Throw turtle grass for them, swim and play with them….this is an experience of a lifetime! You can bring your own snorkel gear, or rent for an additional $8.
Trainer For a Day $215 – This is an entire day at the RIMS facility, beginning at 8:30am and ending at 4:00pm, with an hour lunch break of course. You will receive 3 classroom sessions based on sanitation standards and be a part of fish duty as well. 3 more session on the Key with dolphins which consists of anatomy, hand signal sessions, and water behavior (foot pushes, dorsal toe ride, kisses and mimic behaviors). 12 yrs. And up
Dolphin Action Swim $120 – This is 45 min total with the dolphins. The first 8 min is a platform session where you get to interact a little with the dolphins before entering the water, and then a little camera time as well. The remaining time sill be spent in the water getting foot pushes, dorsal fin rides, handshakes, kisses, practicing vocals and other water behaviors! 5 yrs. And up
Dolphin Dive $145 – The dive is 60 ft. deep on a sandy bottom of a 45 min open water dive with two dolphins. After checking in at the dive shop, the boat will take you to Bailey’s Key where you will have a top-side orientation and Q&A session to learn about dolphin diving etiquette. A 5 min boat ride then brings you to a beautiful reef wall where you’ll descend to a white sandy bottom at 60 feet. Two or three naturally curious dolphins will arrive and are free to interact with you as they chose. You will be accompanied by a dive guide, dolphin behaviorist and videographer. You do have to be certified in order to do the dive. 12 yrs. And up.
Let Wayne and Elly take you out for a breathtaking private sailing charter around the island! Zeppelin Charters can offer ½ day sailing and snorkeling tours, all day sailing and snorkeling tours, and overnight island destinations. Enjoy snacks and drinks, and see the island from an entirely different perspective. Snorkel the untouched reefs out East and catch a glimpse of where Christopher Columbus set foot! Prices vary depending on number of people in group. Please email with details so that we can get you the exact price.
Roatan is known for its world class fishing! El Dorado (Mahi), Wahoo, Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, are just some of the fish in our waters here. If your mouth is watering for some fresh fish, then let’s go fishing! We have several different boat sizes to accommodate different size groups. J&J charters can take up to three people, and they are $300 for a ½ day fishing charter. Roatan Fishing Charters can accommodate 5 in their smaller boat, and they are $400 for a half day, or $750 for a half day for up to 8 in the larger boat! All charters include drinks and snacks, and of course, our local chef will be more than happy to grill up your catch of the day!!! Let’s go fishing!!!
How about Fly Fishing? Enjoy a full day of guided fly or spin fishing. You will be picked up at BJ’s in Oakridge at 7am, and return at 4pm. The tour includes luch, beverages, optional breakfast, and a full day of fishing. 1 person/1 boat $299. 2 people/1 boat $475 2 people/2 boats $575 (Extra guest, fishing not included – $50).
The Black Pearl is Roatan’s first and only golf course. Designed by Pete Dye, the course starts at the ocean’s doorstep, rises into the island’s rolling foothills, then takes golfers on a wild ride back to the seaside clubhouse. It features one of Dye’s signature island greens, and 14 holes offer stunning vistas of the ocean and the Meso-American Barrier Reef. Prices range from $97 to $145.
The Ixora Restaurant & Bar at Palmetto Bay offers some of the best dining on the island. The beachfront restaurant and bar is open from 7:00 in the morning until 9:00 pm in the evening, 7 days a week. Let Chef Daniel tempt you with his daily specials of fresh fish and seafood, steaks, pastas. The breakfast and lunch menus offer something for everyone and are available all day long.

Cal’s Temporary Cantina: Located out East in First Bight, amazing island cuisine, incredible views and breezes from the deck. Open Tuesday through Friday. $$
Frenchy’s 44: Located in French Harbour, on the water, beautiful views and ambiance, everything from island cuisine to Persian delights. Open Tuesday through Sunday. $$$
Gio’s: Located in French Harbour, on the water, beautiful views, famous for their steak and lobster. Open 7 days a week. $$$
Herbie’s Sports Bar: Located in French Harbor, beautiful views and air conditioning, over 50 tv’s to watch the game on, great American Sports Bar food, Happy Hour every day from 4pm to 6pm includes half price pizza and wings, ½ off well drinks and draft beers! $$
Al Pastador: Looking for incredible tacos? Look no further! Located just west of the airport, in Coxen Hole, on the main road, is this great little joint serving up some of the best tacos we’ve ever had! $
Frangipani: Located in Sandy Bay at the Mayoka Lodge, serving up incredible fresh fish and sushi, with to die for views! $$$$
Blue Bahia: Located in Sandy Bay, offering an incredible selection of international cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. $$$
Tongs: Located in West End, this is truly our all time favorite restaurant on the island. Tongs has the best Thai food I have ever had the chance of experiencing. Once you try the Pad Thai, you will crave it for the rest of your life. Sitting on the dock extending out over the ocean, and watching the Rays swim under you, is a pretty cool experience too! $$$
Sundowner’s Beach Bar: Located in West End, right on the beach. Great staff, incredible drinks for a fair price, and yummy beach bar food! Come, have some drinks, and let the kiddos play in the water! $$
Canibal Café: Located in West End, this is a great little place to pop in and enjoy giant, stuffed burritos with fish and shrimp and island cuisine! Super yummy! $$
There are so many more restaurants on the island, but these are tried and true, and our absolute favorites, especially with our picky kids! Enjoy!
